I got into oil painting during high school, then continued my art studies at Carnegie Mellon University and Ohio State University.

At OSU I grew fond of Half-Bucks (i.e. 50 cent) coffee.

In the 1990's, way, way past the hippie era, I decided I better grow my hair long as long as I still had hair. So I did, until about 1999 or so.
