In August, 1953, the Hunts of West Virginia had a family reunion picnic in honor of the newlyweds Warren Martens and Margaret Hunt. Gus and Marg made the lengthy car trip from New York City to Burton, West Virginia for the event, and of course Gus brought his movie camera along. To Gus and Marg, who usually stayed put in the NYC area, rural West Virginia must have felt a bit exotic,
