THE HUNT HOMESTEAD, a.k.a. The House on the Hill
Georgia Hunt, who lost her husband to a locomotive accident in the early 1930's, raised her 3 girls and 4 boys on a hilltop farm in Burton, West Virginia. By 1953 everyone had moved off the hill except for Georgia's son George and his family. Since the late '50s the house has been sporadically occupied by other family members and renters; it stands today in fair condition.
