2. BABY WARREN
Here is Baby Warren again, taken the same Summer - 1929. But contrasted with the previous, badly deteriorated sequence, this footage looks positively pristine! This was probably the first 16mm film shot by Gustave, who would continue with the 16mm format in black and white and then color for the next 30 years. As far as subject matter goes, yeah - I know, we've all had enough of babies in home movies, but this kid's my father, O.K??

So the Great Depression is just a few months away... who cares?
