The fair's 1939 season was meant to commemorate the 150th anniversary of George Washington's presidential inauguration, but despite Washington's looming presence on Constitution Mall the theme of "Building the World of Tomorrow" prevailed everywhere. Does anybody know what happened to Big George after the fair?
