Wytches' Hill Coven

Held at Riannon-Lia's House.

Pre-ritual altar on the main floor of Riannon-Lia's House. The Jill O'Lantern actually has 3 faces carbed around it to symbolize the threefold aspect of Hecate. The black gift bags contain treats for the dead and hold the ritual programs. Prior to ritual the tiny pumpkins were scooped out to contain tea-lights. Each gift bag is decorated with a different image of Hecate.

At the onset of the main ritual, the coven picked up their treat bags and little lanterns, climbed down the steep basement steps, stepped through this crudely constructed but effective Hall of Shadows...

and finally into the main altar room. The goat and deer skulls and the Celtic candleholders were purchased from vendors at the Starwood Festival.

Our scrying mirror, which originally served as the headboard to Riannon-Lia's bed. It's now sitting on the basement floor, propped up against the hot water heater. Note the Stang leaning against the wall to the left, and the box of tissues in the lower left corner. Reflected in the mirror is a tripod that contained the bowl of Samhain Brew - a concoction of sasassfras, mugwort and Guinness Stout.
