MIDSUMMER
Wytches' Hill Coven

Our Sun Disk, painted by Dumuzzi

Our circle awaits us in the midst of a parched backyard on a hot Midsummer afternoon. The center pyre is stacked inside a cheap barbeque tray. (Fire extinguishers are out of view). Cintronella candles left over from last year's Starwood Festival.

Prior to ritual we made Summer Momentos out of a playdough-type material manufactured by Crayola. This stuff air-dries within an hour.

The altar was, for us, unusually simple - just the bare essentials for a circle.
