Mabon
Wytches' Hill Coven

Prior to entering the outdoor ritual site, we assembled in the basement (or "Sanctum") before the cellar door to the outside. Guarding the door was this little "Wicker" man, symbolizing the king who is about to die and be creamated. The door was just recently painted black and decorated with seasonal symbols.

As the late afternoon light dimmed we proceeded through the cellar door to the circle. White paper voltives line the walk. The burning cauldron lies at circle's center.

The final resting place for the King's ashes.
